dinner with tupperware

Some days, I'll be making dinner and I look around and realize I'm surrounded by Tupperware. THIS is why I signed up to be a Tupperware consultant - I use it daily. The other day, I took a couple photos to show you what I mean.

In this photo from left to right: My Heat N Serve container held my ground beef - love it because it goes from freezer to microwave for easy defrosting. My Thatsa Bowl Jr. is what I used to mix my hamburger in. My Hamburger Press is my favourite summer tool. My Freezermate holds breadcrumbs for whenever a recipe calls for them - they're handy. My assistant is using one of my Measuring Cups. (Also, there are two large Freezermates in the background - one is holding cookies and the other is holding hamburger buns!)

Other Tupperware tools used for my dinner making process yet not photoed? My Cutting Board, my FAVOURITE Santuko knife for slicing tomatoes, and my Chef Series Dutch Oven for boiling corn on the cob.

Then we took our meal outside and ate it on our Tupperware plates and my assistant drank from his favourite Bell Tumbler with Sippy Lid. :)

Having the right tools in the kitchen makes dinner so much easier. Indispensable.

Cook much?

The sale flyer that's on until October 8th is all about cooking and baking and if you do either of those, here's a few things you shouldn't go without:

The Saucy Silicone Spatula (usually sells for $25 - on sale for $17) Stain and heat resistant up to 400 degrees - no more melting spatulas when you use them to make scrambled eggs!

The Silicone Wonder Mat (usually sells for $47 - on sale for $32.50) Like parchment paper but much more environmentally friendly - use this mat on your baking sheets and pans for more even baking.

Measuring Cups and Spoons - (usually $34.50 - on sale for $19) This one can't be found on the website for sale because it's only on for attending a party! But let me know if you want it and you can attend my "virtual party" to order them. (aka - i'm putting in a party on the 24th) These cups are great because they have a built in pouring spout on either side of the cup.

Thatsa Bowl 4 Piece Set - Buy One, Get One Free! (worth $185.50 - you buy EIGHT bowls for $92.50) Normally, you can't even buy the two smaller bowls which are both great sizes. Then the biggest two bowls are HUGE! Mixing batters and dough in plastic bowls makes it so much lighter to move around and pour out. I've gone to all plastic for baking and love it.

Think ahead to Christmas gift shopping - who could use a fantastic set of bowls? Then keep a set for yourself!

Order going in on the 24th - email rebeccashulba@gmail.com

bowls with lids

this week, i used a lot of bowls. tupperware bowls, obviously. then i came across this article about making reusable bowl covers - as seen below...

and i thought, isn't it great that tupperware bowls all come with seals? no need for saran OR sewing. i sent a salad to a potluck with a lid. i also poured my caesar dressing onto my chicken and romaine, put the lid on and shook it so that the dressing would coat everything evenly. i put some leftovers in a bowl and put the lid on. i gave my assistant a bowl to play with in the tub and a lid to chew on. ha.

this is my favourite bowl set - tupperware impressions bowl set. all the sizes you could possibly need.

and don't forget about the Thatsa bowl set which is on as a purchase with purchase for only $20.50 in the flyer that's been extended.

purchase with purchase

i loved going to tupperware parties for the flyer specials. one particularly great feature of tupperware flyers is the "purchase with purchase". there are usually two items that are available for a crazy deal but only if you are already buying something. they're always at different price points but in the current flyer "P with P"s are:

Thatsa Bowl set - buy $60 and get this two bowl set for $20.50! (saving you $23) i love how all tupperware bowls come with lids. easy to make the dough then cover and throw in the fridge. or make the pasta salad, cover and throw in the cooler. no wasted saran wrap.

Servalier Set of 3 - if you buy $120 (modular mates ARE on sale!!! now's the time to get them!), you can get these 3 bowls for only $15.75! (again, no saran wrap needed)
these bowls are CLASSICS! here's a picture of me and my dad in the early eighties with servaliers on our heads. the classics never go out of style. (speaking of tupperware as toys...)
