Tupperware 1961

speaking of freezing...

since i was on the topic of my freezer, here's a tip. if you are freezing something in your Freezer Mates and it doesn't fill the container to the top, either pick a new container OR scrunch up some waxed paper to fill the remainder of the space. this will keep your frozen food from getting freezer burnt. when i pour a bag of perogies into the largest Freezer Mate, as i use up the perogies, i put in some waxed paper (or it could be a plastic grocery bag or something - anything to fill the space) until there's few enough perogies in the container to pour into a smaller Freezer Mate. it really helps keep my frozen foods longer. do it.

tupperware for life...

i was talking to a guest at a tupperware party yesterday and she was saying how she'd bought these Vent n Serve containers a few years ago and the consultant had talked about how they're indestructable. she bought some and they eventually got a crack in them. she told me how disappointed she was. i asked her, "did you get them replaced by a consultant?" she hadn't. she told me, "i didn't have my receipt anymore so i threw them out."

people! you don't need a receipt! if something your mom bought 30 years ago or something your grandma bought 50 years ago cracks, chips, breaks, or peels - we replace it or give you an equivalent! all you need to give your consultant (aka. me i hope) is the broken piece. awesome! the only exception to this rule is if there is metal on your piece of tupperware (like a cheese grater or an ice cream scoop), it's a limited warranty of a year. of course, they last much longer than that but it's not for life. but if it's all tupperware plastic, you'll have it until you're an old lady. :)

a great gift idea

at my party last night, i let my customers know that the Super Cereal Storers were on 2 for 1. one of the women there was all excited because super cereal storers are her go-to wedding gift. she gives the new couple 2 super cereal storers and two boxes of cereal. she said that it's a gift that ALWAYS has a great response and it's something the husbands especially appreciate. what a great idea! normally a $50 gift is on for only $25 (plus the cost of cereal)! have you gotten your 2 storers yet? rebeccashulba@gmail.com

the QUICK CHEF IS ON SALE!!!

i've been telling people that this never happens and here it is on sale! remember the Quick Chef? i use it for most of demos at my tupperware parties to make salsa and lately i've been making ice cream in it. it's the best for chopping ANYTHING! it's the cheapest food processor with way less mess and more convenient. i've also been making a lot of whipped cream in it lately. pour in the whipping cream and turn the handle for about a minute and you've got thick, yummy whipped cream. the Quick Chef does have a little higher price tag - it's $67.50. i always recommend to people that they have a party and use their free credit to get it or think about trying out selling tupperware and get their Quick Chef in their kit.

well from may 29th to june 11, if you host an average-sized party and have two people book their own parties, you can get the Quick Chef for $12.50!! i'm floored, personally. if you've loved this product at past parties you've attended or hosted but never gotten it, NOW is the time! rebeccashulba@gmail.com

freezer organization

my freezer - a before and after picture all in one. i used to think, why would i pour my bags of peas or frozen strawberries into a container? and then one day my freezer was so packed full of bags that when i opened the door, a bag of peas fell out and spilled all over my floor. now they're in a freezermate.
what's amazing to me how small some of the containers are in the freezermate collection yet they hold way more than you'd expect. if you know your modular mates, you know that tupperware gives each height a number ranging from shortest (1) to tallest (5). freezermates are also modular which is why they are the best for organizing your freezer.

in the starter set, there are two small 1s and two small 2s. they're tiny. but if you're living on your own or as a couple, they're a good size. the small 2s can hold a little over a pound of ground beef! the small 1s are the perfect size for two pieces of chicken. buy a package of 6 breasts and divide them into meal-sized portions in your freezer mates!

in the family set, there are two medium 1s and two medium 2s. in the above picture, there are 4 medium 2s in there but you can just see the fronts. these are a great size for most small bags of frozen fruit or veggies. I love these 1s (like i talked about above) for chicken or pork chops (or whatever kind of meat). I bought a costco sized pack of fresh chicken breasts the other day and divided them into 4s in my medium 1s. then i poured salad dressing on them. when they are thawing for dinner one day in the near future, they'll sit in their dressing and taste great!
obviously, the best value is the complete set. SO many freezermates AND this is the only way to get the large 2. (i often use this container to store baking on the counter and not in the freezer) i just need to splurge and finish off my freezer. i'm so sick of the mess in there. how's your freezer looking?
if you feel the same way but are thinking, "i can't afford that complete set", having a party is the way to go. why not get the set for free? hosting a party can be having some people over for coffee one morning (and getting your mom in winnipeg to join your party through TupperConnect) and you'll benefit from free host credit based on the amount purchased.

the serving center is ON SALE!

the serving center definitely comes up at every tupperware party i've had as a favourite piece of tupperware. it's so portable when you are asked to bring the veggie platter or fruit plate to a party. if you're just using it at your own house, why not use the lid as a platter as well - it could hold your chips or bread for a spinach dip. at a recent ice cream party, the serving center held all the sundae toppings! nice.

when the new spring/summer catalog came out, the serving center can only be purchased as a set. (which is a really great set, by the way - awesome for picnics and camping) so for all those customers who were upset by this, the lone serving center is HERE for one month only! if you buy $60 of Tupperware, you can get the serving center for only $24!! a steal since full price it's $42.50! book your party now until june 11th for this deal among others. AND get a mini serving center (such a great size) as one of your free gifts! you'll be all ready for summer potlucks, bbqs, and family reunions.

Oh Chef Stuart

Chef Stuart is Tupperware's much loved chef who creates the recipes that are featured in our catalog and flyers. he's also one of our catalog models because he's pretty nice to look at.

Be sure to catch our own Chef Stuart O’Keeffe on Private Chefs of Beverly Hills tonight at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on Food Network. The show follows six private chefs from the premiere service Big City Chefs as they cook through outrageous and bizarre assignments from their eccentric clients.

Since the show started in early April, Private Chefs of Beverly Hills has showcased Chef Stuart and his straight-forward approach to cooking while featuring some of the Tupperware® products you’ve come to love. Watch Stuart fluff up a whipped cream in the Quick Chef while he cooks for some of Hollywood’s past and present A-listers.

TupperConnect

here's the latest and coolest feature of a Tupperware party that i have just discovered: TupperConnect. how many of you have friends and family that live across Canada and therefore cannot make it to your Tupperware party? yes. all of us. well, Tupperware gets it and they want you to be able to invite those people to your party ONLINE. when you book a date for your party, i set up your date online and then send you an email. you customize that email and forward that invitation to anyone you want. all those people can log into Tupperware and order whatever they like. the order will get added to your party and the tupperware will get mailed to THEM! how cool is that? what a great way to offer tupperware to friends and family who don't have a consultant AND get you some more host credit...aka. free stuff!

if you want to book a Tupperware birthday party in May, i have an early bird special on for anyone choosing a date before May 14th! an extra $25 worth of free tupperware ON TOP of all the great specials we have on for May! use TupperConnect and bump up your party sales! email me for available dates! rebeccashulba@gmail.com

this is a GREAT month for a party! let people know you're having one! rebeccashulba@gmail.com

in time for summer!

what summer doesn't need a pitcher of lemonade? in the mid-april to mid-may flyer, there are THREE of them for sale! these are the classic button top lids that let you shake the pitcher without spilling and also strains the ice cubes. the largest of the pitchers on sale this month is our 1 gallon (like a milk jug) pitcher. it comes with a set of 12 different sized cups (that all come with their own seal) perfect of drinking out of on the deck. or what if all your kids want different beverages on your picnic? pour each drink into their own cup, seal, and throw in your picnic basket - no fear of spills! check out the link to see more details on this set.

also in the flyer this month is a set of 2 pitchers. one is 1 litre and the other is 2 litres. because this button top seal keeps your beverage from leaking, they're perfect for bringing along on a roadtrip in the backseat. a recent customer suggested this at one of my parties - you can fill these up with ice and juice and keep it nearby. whenever you're thirsty, stop for a fill-up and your drink will still be cold. what a great idea instead of buying those $2 - $3 drinks at the gas station! these pitchers are on sale for $21.50 if you spend $60.
