Chop N Prep Chef

In the current catalogue that came out in September, there was a new item called the Chop N Prep Chef. It's littler than the Quick Chef and has 3 blades that spin around when you pull the cord. While, in theory, it does the same thing as the Quick Chef, it's ideal for chopping a smaller amounts - things like nuts, garlic, fresh herbs, etc.

At my most recent party, I was doing a salsa demo in the Quick Chef - it's always a great idea to let your Tupperware consultant do a food demo because not only does it show how to use a few Tupperware products, but it also boosts party sales because people see it and know that it will save them time and money in THEIR kitchen! Anyways, to show how well the Chop N Prep Chef works, I threw the garlic and cilantro in there. I'd never used it before. Only with Tupperware can you trust that the item will do exactly what it says without ever testing it (though I don't recommend doing this, consultants! haha!). I pulled the cord THREE times and the garlic and cilantro was chopped SO finely - it was AMAZING! I was very impressed.

I will be taking my Chop N Prep Chef with me to all my salsa demos now! I loved how great it worked for smaller foods.

the serving center is ON SALE!

the serving center definitely comes up at every tupperware party i've had as a favourite piece of tupperware. it's so portable when you are asked to bring the veggie platter or fruit plate to a party. if you're just using it at your own house, why not use the lid as a platter as well - it could hold your chips or bread for a spinach dip. at a recent ice cream party, the serving center held all the sundae toppings! nice.

when the new spring/summer catalog came out, the serving center can only be purchased as a set. (which is a really great set, by the way - awesome for picnics and camping) so for all those customers who were upset by this, the lone serving center is HERE for one month only! if you buy $60 of Tupperware, you can get the serving center for only $24!! a steal since full price it's $42.50! book your party now until june 11th for this deal among others. AND get a mini serving center (such a great size) as one of your free gifts! you'll be all ready for summer potlucks, bbqs, and family reunions.

ice cube trays...with seals

you know when you put your ice cube trays in your freezer, the longer they sit in there unused, the dirtier they get. little flecks of things from the freezer...like freezer "dust" you could call it. is this just me and my messy freezer?

anyways, it hadn't bothered me that much but then i started taking my leftover baby food from it's jar and pouring them into my ice cube trays. a great idea to not waste baby food when my assistant is not yet eating more than a cube at a time. i quickly discovered, however, that when left in the open freezer air, the food cubes get a rubbery surface which is pretty unappetizing. so after wasting a batch of food cubes, i started popping them out after a few hours of freezing and putting them in my freezer mate.

i thought to myself, "wouldn't it be great if i could just put a lid on these ice cubes?" then at one of my parties, one of my customers was talking about when tupperware had ice cube trays with seals! i found this picture...
Tupperware Fresh & Pure Set of 2 Ice Cube Trays
well wouldn't you know - the NEW tupperware catalog is coming out on march 1st and in it? ICE CUBE TRAYS WITH SEALS!!! i'm pretty excited.

if you are a mom with young kids/kid on the way and have mom friends, why not have a handful of them over for coffee one morning and i'll put together a little demo on tupperware items for babies - we can focus on making baby food, kid related containers, meal planning (to make life easier), and toys!

another party idea?

as i mentioned the other day, there are lots of ideas out there for different styles of tupperware parties. here's a theme that would be cool...literally...a smoothie party!

i just found a plethora of smoothie recipes on the tupperware website and they sounds so good. at your smoothie party, we could focus on storing fruits in both the fridge and the freezer as well as a fantastic variety of tumblers and cups that tupperware offers. and then, of course, we could make and drink smoothies...

i leave you with a recipe and an upcoming deal:

pomegranate berry smoothie -

1/2 cup pomegranate juice
1/2 cup blackberries
1/2 medium banana
4 ice cubes

blend. makes 12oz.

aaand the deal: also in the mid february flyer, the insulated tumbler with drip-less straw seal...except it's in light purple! usually $26 but for this flyer, it's only $13! the double walled mug makes it the perfect container for taking those smoothies with you!

the tupperware party...ideas for hostesses

today i went to a 2pm saturday tupperware party and loved the unconventional time! when people hear the term "tupperware party", they think a weeknight evening and of course, this is because most parties take place on weeknight evenings. however, let me paint a variety of pictures for your tupperware party!

the office lunch hour party: if you work in an office where everyone has a lunch break at the same time, i can meet you at your office for lunch and we can have a quick party. i can focus on the best snack and lunch containers. an hour long tupperware party works.

the kids are in preschool party: if you have preschoolers or kindergarteners, get some other moms from your child's class (or any mom who wants to get out of the house) together and have them over for morning coffee! i can show you items that will save you time in the kitchen.

the bridal shower party: know a soon to be bride? invite shower guests and have them put the cash they would have spent on the present in an envelope. this money goes towards the bride's choices of tupperware. then i do a quick overview of the best organization products tupperware's got to offer and if anyone wants to order any tupperware for themselves, all the host credit ALSO goes to the bride-to-be. what a fantastic way to set up a new couple! then we can play all the classic shower games you want!

the tupperware tea party: choose a saturday or sunday afternoon (or any old time and date) and i'll bring the tea. tupperware has beautiful tea pots and blooming tea flowers. if you're a loose leaf tea fan - this is a great party for you. let me show you tupperware's teas and tea accessories.

i recently heard a story from a tupperware friend about a party that she threw after hours at a coffeehouse. all the employees hung out, chatted and looked at tupperware. throughout the night they drew names for all the different host gifts. then after everyone had made their orders, they drew names to see who won the host credits! mystery host party! very cool idea.

so there are a few ideas to get your ideas rolling - some of these i came up with on my own but others i had some help on. check out this crazy list i found and see if there's something you like better! let me know if you find one that suits you and get yourself some free tupperware! rebeccashulba@hotmail.com
