a fantastic mid-november sale flyer!

i'm always really excited when each month's new flyers come out and the mid-november tupperware flyer is the coolest i've seen all year. it's like a mini catalog with many pages to it! here are some of the highlights:

the LARGE CARRY-ALLS are BACK! if you don't have one, you need one. they hold the 10kg. bags of flour (or anything else that large). i have a friend who has one for white flour, whole wheat flour, and sugar. i used mine for my 20 lbs. of blueberries this summer. many people want them for their dog food too. at an awesome price - $36.50! also a great gift for the baker in your family.
the Early Ages sets are on SALE! i love, love, love these baby sets that came out in our fall catalogue. the Eco Feed N Grow Set is on sale for $15.75 and the Eco Complete Baby Set is on for $31.50!
Feed N Grow
Complete Set (yes, that's a portioned formula dispenser! love that!)

Also, TWO fantastic sets of water bottles. i loved this design when it came out as 1 L bottles but i've had many a customer say that it was too large for them. guess what? this month? get those pretty bottles in two new sizes! get a set of FOUR 750mL bottles for only $25.50 (can you say stocking stuffer?) or, if you purchase $120, you can buy a set of SIX 500mL bottles for $22.50! fill them up with those packets of lipton ice tea mix and you've got a cute teacher's gift or like i said, awesome stocking stuffer!

Last, but not least, the Flavour Saver is BACK! These have not been around in a long time so if your mom has ever loaned you hers like my mom has, you'll be excited to get your own! This container is the perfect size to hold up to a 14 lb. turkey but you could use it for a ham or roast chicken too. my inlaws have a rotisserie and whenever they do up a chicken, they make an extra for us and bring it over in their Flavour Saver circa. 1975! See in the photo below how there's a seperate insert with handles so that you can left it out of the container easily? As you can see in that picture, it's also great for speed thawing when you fill it with hot water. The Flavour Saver is on for $only $24.50 if you order $60.

diaper bag containers

i posted about all my tupperware diaper bag containers before but today i as i was cleaning out the bag, i had to laugh at how many snack cups i was using in there. i had 4 in there! as my assistant is getting bigger, i need more containers for his food, especially when we're gone from home for a whole day. today there was rice cereal, cottage cheese, yogurt, and rice & black beans. these snack cups are the most versatile pieces of tupperware! a must have - even if you don't have an assistant.

ice cube trays...with seals

you know when you put your ice cube trays in your freezer, the longer they sit in there unused, the dirtier they get. little flecks of things from the freezer...like freezer "dust" you could call it. is this just me and my messy freezer?

anyways, it hadn't bothered me that much but then i started taking my leftover baby food from it's jar and pouring them into my ice cube trays. a great idea to not waste baby food when my assistant is not yet eating more than a cube at a time. i quickly discovered, however, that when left in the open freezer air, the food cubes get a rubbery surface which is pretty unappetizing. so after wasting a batch of food cubes, i started popping them out after a few hours of freezing and putting them in my freezer mate.

i thought to myself, "wouldn't it be great if i could just put a lid on these ice cubes?" then at one of my parties, one of my customers was talking about when tupperware had ice cube trays with seals! i found this picture...
Tupperware Fresh & Pure Set of 2 Ice Cube Trays
well wouldn't you know - the NEW tupperware catalog is coming out on march 1st and in it? ICE CUBE TRAYS WITH SEALS!!! i'm pretty excited.

if you are a mom with young kids/kid on the way and have mom friends, why not have a handful of them over for coffee one morning and i'll put together a little demo on tupperware items for babies - we can focus on making baby food, kid related containers, meal planning (to make life easier), and toys!

and if tupperware made diapers...

i was at winners today digging through my diaper bag to find my wallet. as i was digging, i realized how many pieces of tupperware are staples in my diaper bag.
in my snack cup, i have a table spoon of rice cereal, ready to have water added to it.
then there's the ever handy spoon in case. this case is amazing. unfortunately it's only in the fundraiser catalog. the fundraiser catalog has some great stuff in it. more on fundraisers soon.
my modular mate round container for many bottles worth of formula powder.
and a tiny freezer mate container that i won as a prize once at a tupperware party for one or two soothers. because who knows what kind of gunk can be at the bottom of your diaper bag for that soother to get into. best to keep them clean.

soon to be in my diaper bag is the feeding set - it's sitting in my cupboard wanting my son to start eating more than a tablespoon of food at a time.

now if tupperware just made bottles and diapers...
