double flyer week!

everyone has been buying modulars like crazy while they've been 40% but the flyer was scheduled to be finished as of february 12th. if you were thinking, "sigh...i meant to buy my modulars but never got around to it. oh well...", have no worries! the flyer has been extended for one week! woohoo! not only that but the new flyer will still be starting on february 13th so for that week, there will be two flyers! double the host gifts, double the purchase with purchases, double the savings! nice.

another party idea?

as i mentioned the other day, there are lots of ideas out there for different styles of tupperware parties. here's a theme that would be cool...literally...a smoothie party!

i just found a plethora of smoothie recipes on the tupperware website and they sounds so good. at your smoothie party, we could focus on storing fruits in both the fridge and the freezer as well as a fantastic variety of tumblers and cups that tupperware offers. and then, of course, we could make and drink smoothies...

i leave you with a recipe and an upcoming deal:

pomegranate berry smoothie -

1/2 cup pomegranate juice

1/2 cup blackberries

1/2 medium banana

4 ice cubes

blend. makes 12oz.

how much free stuff?

this week, i gave my hosts three medium fridgesmarts, 3 cute bowls, a small fridgesmart, two oval modular mates, a handful of snack cups, and lots of little prizes. altogether, my hosts also had enough sales at their parties to get $290 in free tupperware! woah!

would you believe that the colander that i was raving about like a crazy person is another one of the purchase with purchases for the mid february flyer? if you spend $60, you can get that fantastic colander for only $16.50! love it.

getting excited for the mid-february flyer...

it's very low tech but seeing as i can't figure out how to get these pictures onto my blog (since they're not up on the website until february 13th) i've taken photos of the flyer! that's how pumped i am to show you a couple of my favourite products that will be on sale.

modular mates FOR THE FRIDGE! well, actually they're called Clear Mates.

but how many times have you put your leftovers in a container and it gets pushed to the back of the fridge and forgotten? then a couple weeks later, you empty it into the garbage. what a waste. these clear mates have these great seals that have little squares on the top which help them not slide off of each other when they're stacked. when you buy the top 8 piece set, get the bottom 4 piece set for free. only $73.50!!! another item that i loved from the new flyer is this easter gift. another tupperware toy! i didn't think it looked that great from this photo in the flyer, however, i got to see it in real life the other night at a meeting and my assistant must have this! there are 6 stacking cups. half of them have holes in the bottom for playing with water or sand. the top of each cup has a different shape. they all nest together and the largest bucket has a handle. so very cute for any little person that you know. the gift also comes with two avacado keepers - the perfect size to store your avacados but also good containers for decorated eggs or candies. it all comes together in a box for $31.50.

what's in YOUR modular mates?

since we're still in modular mate season (until feb. 12th), i figure i'll stay on that topic here at Tupperware You Are. that's only a week and a half left to order! i had someone tell me at a party that they didn't have anything to go in modular mates because they don't cook or bake. it's the people that cook and bake so rarely that NEED these containers to keep those ingredients fresh long enough for the next time you get around to cooking/baking! to get you thinking about what you could put in yours, here's what are in mine:

super ovals:

super oval 1 - ground flax seed, oat bran (i have a muffin recipe that have these in them)

super oval 2 - coconut

super oval 3 - chocolate chips

super oval 4 - brown sugar

super oval 5 - cherrios

a set of rectangles comes with a 1, two 2s, a 3, and a 4 - and i have two sets:

rectangle 1 - lasagna noodles, all my packages of instant oatmeal (they take up way less room like this)

rectangle 2 - crackers, a giant bag of splenda, oats, smaller bulk bags of things that i don't use enough to have containers for them

rectangle 3 - white sugar, 2 half empty bags of chips, whole wheat flour (bought in bulk)

rectangle 4 - a giant bag of chips from costco, 5 lb. bag of flour

i have a few regular ovals that i've gotten as prizes as well:

oval 1 - rice cereal (a 227g box fits perfectly in it)

oval 2 - i emptied a 10 pack of shake and bake packets into the container then i can just measure out how much i want for the number of pieces of chicken that i'm making.
